The Haryana Public Service Commission administers the prestigious HCS exam (HPSC). The Haryana Civil Service (HCS) exam is used to select candidates for state civil services. The HPSC HCS is a three-stage exam, and the exam pattern has recently changed. The new HCS Prelims exam format is similar to the IAS exam. In the HCS prelims exam, negative marking was implemented. Because the department of personnel received recruitment requisitions from various departments, a new HPSC notification will be issued soon. Although the HCS Prelims syllabus is very similar to the IAS Prelims syllabus, the main exam syllabus is diametrically opposed.
